Pismena 2011, an Army Museum Zdice event

The Pismena event, organized each year by the Army Museum Zdice, has taken its place among peers from the ranks of the biggest and most prestigious military history events in the Czech Republic, such as Bahna, Cihelna or events at the Military History Museum at Lesany. Visitors were greeted by the standard static exhibition of military vehicles, displays in the local offroad arena and military history reenactments. The meeting was well-organized, with a few minor details to be improved next year, the vehicles on show as well as the refreshments were excellent. Following the official programme and to the satisfaction of all participants, a small Land-Rover after-party has taken place at another offroad facility nearby.

I would like to use this chance to thank the organizers for a Saturday well-spent, I certainly hope next year we will meet again at the Pismena hill above Zdice.
